Job Description

As a Marine Conservation Officer at Marine Conservation Trust, you'll be at the forefront of protecting marine ecosystems. Your expertise will help drive initiatives that promote sustainable practices and habitat restoration.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake research on marine ecosystems and biodiversity.
  • Liaise with local authorities and organizations to enhance conservation efforts.
  • Engage in policy advocacy to protect marine environments.
  • Monitor compliance with environmental laws and regulations.
  • Assess the impact of human activities on marine ecosystems.
  • Support volunteer programs and engage with local volunteers.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
  • Master's degree in Marine Biology or related field is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in marine conservation projects
