Job Description

We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join our innovative team in Manchester. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing our reliability and availability while improving the overall performance of our cloud services. You will work closely with development teams to automate processes, streamline workflows, and contribute to our commitment to operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts in enhancing application performance and reliability.
  • Utilize monitoring tools to detect and mitigate issues proactively.
  • Work on scaling systems to meet growing demand.
  • Conduct post-incident reviews and implement preventive measures.
  • Facilitate training sessions for developers on SRE principles.
  • Maintain effective communication across teams regarding system health and changes.
  • Evaluate new tools and technologies for operational improvements.
  • Ensure that all operations comply with industry standards.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Relevant certifications are a plus
Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in cloud environments and site reliability
