Job Description

We're on the lookout for a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Glasgow. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in design and development, along with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and their applications. This role involves working closely with project teams to ensure the successful execution of engineering projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize engineering designs using CAD software.
  • Evaluate engineering processes and recommend improvements.
  • Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure proper implementation of designs.
  • Create and maintain project documentation.
  • Support testing and validation activities.
  • Utilize simulation tools to analyze mechanical performance.
  • Provide technical support to clients and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for material specifications.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions for innovative solutions.
  • Participate in training sessions for new technologies and processes.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a mechanical engineering role
