Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Underwriter to join our dynamic team in Birmingham. The chosen candidate will evaluate insurance applications, analyse risk factors, and determine appropriate coverage terms and conditions. You will work closely with clients and agents to ensure a smooth underwriting process. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and evaluate the risk for various insurance products.
  • Determine coverage and terms by reviewing applications and related documentation.
  • Work with clients and brokers to clarify underwriting requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of underwriting processes.
  • Collaborate with claims and risk management teams to enhance service delivery.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in insurance underwriting or a related field
