Stereo Plotter Operator

Job Description

We are in search of a dedicated Stereo Plotter Operator responsible for operating and maintaining stereo plotters used in photogrammetry and mapping. The successful candidate should possess strong technical skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with GIS analysts to interpret and apply geospatial data.
• Perform stereo-compilation of terrain features from aerial images.
• Verify the quality and accuracy of mapping outputs against established benchmarks.
• Communicate project updates and findings with team members and stakeholders.
• Maintain equipment and troubleshoot any operational issues promptly.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Higher National Diploma in Geomatics or related field is a plus

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in related roles within geomatics or mapping technology

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• LiDAR Data Processing

Soft Skills

• Problem Solving
• Teamwork

Certifications

• LiDAR Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• LiDAR Data Processing: Experience with processing and analysing LiDAR datasets.
• Experience in 3D Modelling: Capability to create 3D models from geospatial data.
