Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Network Security Consultant in Rotherham to bolster our IT support team. In this role, you will conduct thorough audits, design secure networks, and educate clients on security best practices to ensure their systems are safeguarded against potential threats.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure network architectures.
• Develop security policies and procedures for the organization.
• Review and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Support incident response teams in the event of a security breach.
• Coordinate with law enforcement on security matters, if needed.
• Advise on the selection and deployment of security technologies.
• Participate in cybersecurity awareness initiatives within the organisation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or a related field

Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience in network security

Technical Skills

• Ethical Hacking
• Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
• Data Encryption

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
• Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA Security)

Languages

• English: Fluent
