Job Description
As a Telemetry Registered Nurse (Telemetry RN), you will provide specialised care for patients with cardiac conditions. Your role will involve monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Monitor telemetry equipment to observe and report changes in cardiac status.
- Implement interventions based on patients' conditions and vital signs.
- Collaborate closely with physicians to adjust care as necessary.
- Maintain and update patient records accurately, including medication administration.
- Educate patients on their cardiac health, medication regimens, and lifestyle modifications.
- Ensure compliance with hospital safety standards and practices.
- Assist in orienting new staff members or nursing students.
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development activities.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred
Experience
- Experience in telemetry or cardiac care nursing is strongly preferred.
