Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Violin Teacher to join our music academy. As a Violin Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons to students of all ages and skill levels. Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular individual and group lessons tailored to student abilities.
  • Evaluate and track student progress, adjusting lessons to meet evolving needs.
  • Incorporate music theory into lessons to support holistic musical education.
  • Mentor students in performance preparation, ensuring confidence and readiness.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and training.
  • Encourage participation in school music events and competitions.
  • Foster a creative atmosphere that encourages student input and innovation.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and needs.
  • Develop and maintain a repertoire of classical and contemporary pieces.
  • Educate students about the importance of practice and commitment to their instrument.

Requirements

Education
  • Grade 8 (or higher) in violin performance.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Music Education is preferred.
Experience
  • Experience in preparing students for music examinations and auditions.

Certifications
