Accounting Technician

Job Description

Looking for an experienced Accounting Technician to join our finance team. You will play a critical role in the preparation of financial statements, performing reconciliations, and supporting the management of financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial records and ensure they are accurate and up to date.
• Compile reports for management and stakeholders.
• Identify discrepancies and resolve issues quickly.
• Assist in payroll processing and employee expense reimbursement.
• Engage with external auditors for year-end reviews.
• Assist in the enhancement of financial management systems.
• Implement best practices in financial governance.
• Provide insights into financial efficiency improvements.
• Support and mentor junior staff within the finance team.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in accounting roles

• Tax Regulations

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in payroll processing: Knowledge of payroll systems and processing employee compensation.
