Actuarial Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Actuarial Analyst to join our Bristol office. In this role, you will leverage your analytical skills to conduct risk assessments, evaluate insurance policies, and contribute to strategic decision-making. You will work closely with our experienced actuaries and collaborate on various projects that require a deep understanding of statistical methodologies. Your ability to interpret complex data sets will be crucial to providing insights that influence our clients' financial strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop actuarial models to support pricing and reserving decisions.
• Interpret statistical results to advise on claims reserves and profitability.
• Contribute to the preparation of actuarial reports and documentation.
• Monitor trends in claims data to identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Work with IT to enhance data reporting capabilities and system efficiencies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in actuarial analysis or a related field

• Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA)
