Instrumentation and Process Controls Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Instrumentation and Process Controls Technician to join our dedicated engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, calibrating, and maintaining instrumentation systems and control equipment to ensure seamless operations within our industrial environment. This position involves troubleshooting instrumentation systems and working closely with production teams to optimise process controls.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular maintenance and upgrades for instrumentation equipment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through instrumentation analysis.
• Assist in training junior technicians on best practices for instrumentation and controls.
• Participate in risk assessments to enhance safety protocols related to instrumentation.
• Develop and maintain a library of technical drawings and schematics.

Requirements

Education

• BEng in Instrumentation or Process Engineering is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
