Job Description

As a Tariff Clerk, you will be pivotal in handling tariff schedules and ensuring accurate calculations for imported and exported goods. You will liaise with various departments to facilitate compliance with customs regulations and resolve any tariff-related issues.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise tariff schedule management, ensuring accuracy.
  • Collaborate with customs brokers to facilitate shipments.
  • Provide training on tariff management to junior staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all customs regulations.
  • Track tariff code changes and implications for the business.
  • Support in the handling of tariff audits and assessments.
  • Document and maintain records for all tariff-related queries.

Requirements

Education
  • A degree in supply chain management or a related field is advantageous.
Experience
  • Prior experience in tariff management is highly desirable.
