Sound Engineer

Job Description

As a Sound Engineer at Music Creations Ltd., you will have the opportunity to work at the forefront of the music industry. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining sound equipment at various events. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with music directors to design soundscapes for performances.
• Conduct sound checks and balance audio equipment before events.
• Record and edit high-quality audio for studio projects.
• Manage multiple sound sources and ensure seamless transitions during live shows.
• Provide creative input on sound design and effects.
• Liaise with venue staff regarding technical requirements.
• Ensure all equipment is set up according to specifications and tested pre-event.
• Assist in the development of sound policies and procedures.
• Analyse sound quality and implement improvements.
• Stay current with audio software updates and sound mixing techniques.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Sound Engineering
• Relevant experience in live sound applications is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in technical sound support

Technical Skills

• Live Event Sound Management
• Audio Editing Software

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Live Sound Engineer Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs): Familiarity with DAWs like Ableton Live and Logic Pro is a plus.
• Knowledge of Acoustics: Understanding of acoustics and sound environments.
