Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Language Educator to join our dynamic team in Oldham. The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching various languages and a strong commitment to fostering student engagement and success. You will be responsible for developing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and creating an inclusive classroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement innovative and engaging language lessons.
• Evaluate student understanding through assessments and feedback.
• Encourage students to engage in language practice outside the classroom.
• Work with parents and guardians to support student development.
• Stay updated with the latest language teaching methodologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Linguistics or related field
• Master's degree in Education or Linguistics is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in language teaching

• Language assessment

Soft Skills

• Creativity
• Organizational skills

Certifications

• Cambridge English Teaching Qualification
• Child Safeguarding Certification is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent
• French: Intermediate

Advantageous

• Experience in language immersion programs: Hands-on experience in conducting immersion programs.
• Knowledge of assessment frameworks: Experience in using language assessment frameworks such as CEFR.
