Job Description

The Police Park Officer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and security of parks and recreational areas. This position involves enforcing park regulations, responding to incidents, and engaging with the community to promote a safe environment.

Responsibilities

  • Enforce park regulations to ensure a safe environment for all visitors.
  • Provide assistance and conflict resolution among park guests.
  • Conduct regular checks of park facilities and report necessary repairs.
  • Develop and implement community engagement initiatives focusing on park safety.
  • Compile and archive detailed reports of park activities and incidents.
  • Engage in community outreach to educate the public on park safety procedures.
  • Work together with park management to enhance visitor experiences.
  • Participate in training sessions to keep up with law enforcement standards.
  • Coordinate with other law enforcement agencies as needed.
  • Monitor and manage crowd control during busy periods in parks.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a recognized law enforcement training program
Experience
  • Experience in community engagement initiatives is preferred.
