Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Rigger to join our maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining gears and gearboxes, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough inspections of gear systems to identify wear and tear.
Replace parts and components as required, using best practices for gear repair.
Engage in preventive maintenance planning to avert potential breakdowns.
Document detailed reports of maintenance activities and completed tasks.
Engage in continuous learning about new technologies in gear repair and maintenance.
Support the simulation of gear operations to understand performance issues.
Participate in training and mentorship for new team members.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Technical certification or apprenticeship in mechanical engineering or a related field is strongly preferred
Experience
Extensive prior experience in gear repair or similar mechanical roles is required.
