We are seeking a skilled Fiber Optics Engineer to join our dynamic team in Keighley. The ideal candidate will have expertise in fiber optic systems and a passion for engineering within the automotive sector, working collaboratively to design and implement high-quality fiber optic solutions.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement testing protocols for fiber optic systems.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Perform field testing and site inspections as needed.
  • Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers for component specifications.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates.
  • Document findings and prepare reports for management review.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree is preferred
  • Fiber Optics Design Expert in designing fiber optic systems for various applications.
  • Testing and Troubleshooting Advanced skills in testing and troubleshooting fiber optic systems.
  • CAD Software Proficiency Proficient in CAD software for designing engineering systems.
  • Project Management Experience in managing engineering projects from conception to completion.
  • Effective Communication Skilled in conveying technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Problem-Solving Capable of resolving complex engineering challenges efficiently.
  • Team Collaboration Proven ability to work effectively within team environments.
  • Certified Fiber Optic Technician (CFOT)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) - preferred
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Experience with telecom systems: Background in telecommunications engineering will be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of industry standards: Familiarity with applicable industry standards for fiber optics.
