Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Orchard Manager to oversee our fruit orchard operations. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of orchard management, including pest control, irrigation, and staff supervision to optimize fruit production.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement management plans ensuring maximum yield.
• Supervise fruit pickers and packers, managing daily orchard activities.
• Maintain and repair equipment necessary for orchard operations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout the orchard.
• Manage quality control of the fruit during harvesting and packing.
• Conduct regular assessments of orchard performance and provide reports.
• Train new staff in orchard procedures and safety standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture or related field

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in orchard management or related role
