Responsibilities

• Oversee daily farm operations ensuring productivity and efficiency.
• Establish planting schedules and manage crop rotation effectively.
• Train staff in horticultural practices, health, and safety protocols.
• Evaluate and implement pest management strategies.
• Coordinate with suppliers for seeds, fertilizers, and equipment.
• Analyze financial performance and make adjustments to maximize profit.
• Foster relationships with customers and stakeholders in the agricultural sector.
• Stay updated on advancements in horticultural technology.
• Implement sustainable practices for water and resource management.
• Contribute to the overall strategic direction of farm activities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Horticulture or Agriculture

Experience

• At least 2 years in a supervisory role within agriculture
