Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Crop Scientist to join our team in Clacton-on-Sea. The ideal candidate will have expertise in agronomy, crop management, and sustainable farming practices to enhance crop yields and ensure effective pest management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead trials for new crop varieties to evaluate performance.
  • Conduct training sessions for farmers on best practices.
  • Work with agronomy teams to improve overall farm productivity.
  • Collect and analyse data regarding crop input usage.
  • Advise on the integration of technology in crop management.
  • Stay updated on agricultural advancements and innovations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's in Agriculture or Crop Science
  • Master's degree is a plus
