Job Description

We are currently seeking an Agronomy Planner to design and implement effective agronomic strategies that improve crop yields and promote sustainable farming practices. The successful candidate will work closely with farmers, agricultural scientists, and environmental experts to optimise farming operations.

Responsibilities

  • Design agronomic strategies to maximise crop yield and quality.
  • Provide technical support to farmers in crop management.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to introduce innovative agricultural technologies.
  • Conduct field trials to test new agronomic methods.
  • Assist in developing sustainable resource management plans.
  • Engage with local communities to promote sustainable agriculture.
  • Analyse soil samples and recommend appropriate amendments.
  • Prepare documentation for compliance with agricultural standards.
  • Facilitate workshops and training for farm staff on modern practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, or a related field
  • Master's degree in a relevant field is advantageous
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in agronomy or agricultural planning
