Job Description

The Livestock Yard Supervisor will manage the daily operations of our livestock yard, ensuring excellent care and efficient handling of all livestock. The ideal candidate will have experience in livestock management and a passion for animal welfare.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the livestock handling process, ensuring humane treatment and care.
  • Collaborate with logistics teams for efficient operation of livestock transportation.
  • Review and enhance operational processes regularly.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant legislation regarding animal welfare.
  • Address any maintenance or repair issues swiftly to ensure operational continuity.

Requirements

Education
  • Additional qualifications in Animal Science or Livestock Management.
Experience
  • Experience managing large-scale livestock operations preferred.
