Job Description

As a Food Inspector in Bangor, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding public health by inspecting food establishments, ensuring compliance with health regulations, and conducting quality assessments. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for food safety.

Responsibilities

  • Execute food safety inspections and audits across various locations.
  • Provide feedback to operators on compliance and improvement areas.
  • Conduct training sessions to educate staff on food safety protocols.
  • Investigate foodborne illness outbreaks and recommend corrective actions.
  • Liaise with enforcement agencies as required.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health or related field
Experience
  • 2-4 years of experience in food safety or regulatory environments
