Job Description

We are seeking a motivated First-Line Supervisor of Production and Operating Workers who will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our scrap preparation department. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with safety regulations and optimize efficiency in our operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily activities of the scrap preparation team.
• Develop training material and conduct onboarding for new hires.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations in all operations.
• Foster a positive work environment by encouraging teamwork and collaboration.
• Engage in conflict resolution and promote a culture of respect and integrity.
• Track and report on key performance indicators to improve efficiency.
• Facilitate communication between departments to streamline processes.
• Maintain safety records and incident reports as required.
• Lead initiatives for waste reduction and operational efficiency.
• Support production planning and scheduling as per requirements.

Requirements

Education

• Degree or certification in a relevant field preferred

Experience

• Prior experience in a supervisory role within the scrap recycling sector is highly desirable.
