Job Description

As a First-Line Supervisor of Production and Operating Workers, you'll oversee the daily operations of our molding department. You'll be responsible for managing production schedules, supervising staff, and ensuring that all quality control measures are met. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the molding department.
  • Ensure production goals are achieved within quality, cost, and delivery standards.
  • Train team members to ensure they are meeting performance expectations.
  • Monitor production performance and report on process improvements.
  • Facilitate team meetings to discuss performance and workflow.
  • Maintain accurate reports on production metrics and KPIs.
  • Assist in resolving employee conflicts or performance issues.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained according to established schedules.
  • Develop and implement training programs for staff.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Technical degree is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years in a manufacturing role with supervisory experience
Technical Skills
  • Injection Molding Machinery

Certifications
  • OSHA Safety Certification
Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • ISO Certification Experience: Experience with ISO quality management systems.
  • Moldflow Analysis Experience: Experience in using Moldflow analysis software.
