Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Tax Advisor to join our vibrant team in Bath. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert tax advice, ensuring compliance with regulations, and assisting clients in tax planning strategies. This role requires excellent analytical skills and a deep understanding of UK taxation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored tax solutions for individual and corporate clients.
• Ensure timely submission of tax returns and compliance with regulations.
• Conduct thorough tax research to support client decisions.
• Develop strategies to optimize clients' tax positions.
• Provide comprehensive guidance on VAT and Corporation Tax.
• Maintain client records and documentation efficiently.
• Prepare for and assist in tax audits.
• Mentor junior team members in tax practices and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
• Master's degree in Taxation or related field is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years' experience in tax consulting or compliance roles

Technical Skills

• VAT Expertise

• Teamwork

Certifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a plus.

Languages

• English: Fluent
