Job Description

As an Environmental Data Engineer, you will work at the intersection of technology and environmental science, leveraging data to drive informed decision-making. Key to this role is the ability to analyse complex datasets and develop predictive models that support sustainability initiatives. Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts in optimising data collection methods and improving the integrity of environmental data.
  • Conduct detailed assessments of datasets to identify trends and draw conclusions.
  • Work closely with other engineers and environmental specialists on interdisciplinary projects.
  • Design and implement algorithms for data processing and predictive analytics.
  • Engage with various stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Act as a resource for data management and analytic techniques within the organisation.
  • Present analytical findings to internal and external stakeholders, including at conferences.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Environmental Science or Data Analysis
  • Master's degree in a related discipline is advantageous

  • 4-6 years in data engineering or environmental consultancy
