Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Hardener to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for various hardening processes and will ensure the quality and durability of our products.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare coating materials, mixing required proportions of chemicals, and apply the hardener as per specifications.
  • Ensure the proper curing process using specialized equipment and techniques.
  • Monitor and control environmental factors such as temperature and humidity during the hardening process.
  • Perform quality inspections of coated products to ensure adherence to specifications and standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to coating hardness or curing.
  • Maintain accurate records of coating procedures, materials used, and quality control tests.
  • Collaborate with the R&D team to optimise coating hardening techniques.
  • Assist in training new team members on coating hardening processes and equipment.
  • Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant technical qualification or diploma
  • Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software is advantageous
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years in a production or engineering role focusing on hardening techniques.
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in using manual and automated hardening equipment
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations

Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software: Proficiency in using CAD tools beneficial for process designs.
