Job Description

As a Tree Trimmer and Pruner, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining the health and aesthetics of our green spaces. You will be responsible for pruning trees and shrubs, ensuring their vitality and encouraging proper growth.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance on trees, shrubs, and landscaped areas.
• Identify safety hazards associated with cutting and trimming work.
• Support team members in completing larger landscaping tasks.
• Communicate with clients about their landscaping needs and expectations.
• Train and supervise junior staff in proper trimming and pruning techniques.
• Keep equipment serviced and in proper working order.
• Utilize appropriate techniques for different types of trees and shrubs.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations during all operations.

Requirements

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Additional horticulture or landscaping qualifications are preferred.

Experience

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in grounds maintenance.

Technical Skills

• Pest management
