Teaching Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join our educational team. In this role, you will work closely with teachers to implement lesson plans, provide personalised support to pupils, and contribute to the overall wellbeing and progression of learners.

Responsibilities

• Help create an inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere.
• Assist in the assessment and evaluation of student work.
• Contribute to the planning of educational activities.
• Provide administrative support to teachers.
• Aid in the integration of technology into learning activities.

Requirements

Education

• GCSEs in English and Maths
• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent is highly desirable

Experience

• Experience working with children or young people is preferred.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Understanding of safeguarding policies: Knowledge of policies related to student safeguarding and wellbeing.
