Job Description

As a Molding, Coremaking, and Casting Machine Setter, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality cast iron products. Your responsibilities will include preparing sand molds, melting iron, and ensuring production processes are adhered to for optimal quality output.

Responsibilities

• Train new staff on machinery operation and safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with casting processes.
• Monitor and report any defects in the casting process to supervisors.
• Maintain inventory of materials and supplies needed for production.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production practices.

Requirements

Education

• Technical qualification or apprenticeship in metal casting or manufacturing is highly desirable

Experience

• Experience with sand casting processes is essential.
