Job Description

Join the Conservation Trust as a Wildlife Conservation Officer and contribute to vital conservation efforts. This role involves conducting site assessments, developing management plans, and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance our wildlife protection strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out ecological assessments and wildlife monitoring.
  • Work with volunteers and interns to facilitate conservation projects.
  • Engage the public and stakeholders in wildlife preservation efforts.
  • Prepare grant applications to secure funding for conservation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with ecological researchers and conservation biologists.
  • Promote best practices for land management to enhance wildlife habitats.
  • Perform outreach activities to raise awareness about conservation challenges.
  • Provide expert advice on species protection and management strategies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Zoology, Wildlife Biology or related discipline
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in wildlife conservation projects
