Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Conservation Scientist to conduct impactful research and design innovative strategies for the conservation of natural resources. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in environmental science, have a strong analytical mindset, and be passionate about protecting ecosystems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead research efforts related to habitat restoration and species conservation.
  • Collaborate with environmental agencies to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Develop educational materials to raise awareness about conservation issues.
  • Participate in workshops and conferences to disseminate research findings.
  • Support the development of innovative conservation technologies.
  • Assist in the training and mentoring of junior staff and interns.
  • Prepare presentations for stakeholders and community engagement activities.
  • Utilise statistical software and tools for data analysis and modelling.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of research activities.

Requirements

Education
  • PhD in a relevant scientific discipline
Experience
  • Experience in a research environment focusing on conservation or environmental science.
