Job Description

As a Soil Quality Technician, you will play a critical role in assessing and improving soil health across various sites. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a passion for environmental science. You will conduct soil tests, analyse data, and provide recommendations to enhance soil quality, working closely with a multidisciplinary team. Ideal candidates will have experience in fieldwork, environmental monitoring, and a strong understanding of soil science principles.

Responsibilities

  • Perform site assessments and collect samples across various environments.
  • Data entry and management of soil quality information.
  • Educate clients and partners on best practices for soil management.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of environmental policies.
  • Conduct literature reviews on soil science advancements.
  • Support outreach programs aimed at raising community awareness regarding soil health.
  • Prepare materials for public presentations and workshops.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Soil Science, or related field
  • Postgraduate qualification is advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in soil quality assessment or environmental consultancy
