Job Description

A role as a Furnace, Kiln, Oven, Drier, and Kettle Operator involves overseeing the impregnation and drying processes that are vital to material handling in the manufacturing industry. The operator works closely with the team to ensure the materials are processed efficiently and meet specified quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate various drying equipment, including kilns and driers.
• Monitor and adjust the drying process as necessary to meet production requirements.
• Perform routine inspections of equipment to identify malfunctions or issues.
• Document production processes clearly and accurately.
• Engage in continuous improvement practices to enhance operational efficiency.
• Train new team members on equipment usage and safety protocols.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production targets and improvements.

Requirements

Education

• No specific educational qualifications required.
• Training in machinery operation or manufacturing processes is a plus.

Experience

• Experience in a similar role within the manufacturing sector is an asset.
