Job Description

The Compound Worker will ensure the effective operation of the compound area within a manufacturing facility. This role involves handling hazardous materials, managing inventories, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with hazardous materials handling regulations and maintain safety data sheets.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on all compound area equipment.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for inventory and supplies management.
  • Participate in safety training and workshops for staff.
  • Document and report any incidents related to hazardous materials or equipment issues.
  • Maintain records of safety inspections and training sessions.
  • Assist in audits and compliance checks as required.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or hazardous materials handling environment is preferred.
