Job Description

We are currently seeking a Retail Buyer to manage our product selection and procurement processes in Glasgow. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in analyzing market trends, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring that our product offerings meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute purchasing strategies that align with sales goals.
  • Conduct supplier market assessments and risk analyses.
  • Prepare product specifications and communicate them to suppliers.
  • Review and negotiate contracts to ensure optimal terms.
  • Work with finance to manage budgets and ensure profitability.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Retail Management or related field
  • MBA is preferred
Experience
  • 4-6 years of experience in retail buying or category management
