Job Description

The Medical Billing Manager will oversee all billing and revenue cycle management activities for our dynamic healthcare team. You will be responsible for managing the billing team, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and optimising revenue collections.

Responsibilities

  • Lead billing team operations to ensure the accuracy of medical billing.
  • Monitor compliance with healthcare regulations and internal policies.
  • Conduct regular audits to improve efficiency in billing operations.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to resolve discrepancies in payment.
  • Engage with insurance companies to negotiate rates and resolve issues.
  • Create thorough reports for management regarding billing and collections.
  • Train staff on best practices for documentation and coding.
  • Maintain strong relationships with external vendors and payers.
  • Utilize analytics tools to assess billing performance and trends.
  • Implement best practices to enhance patient satisfaction in billing processes.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare management, business administration, or related field
  • Certification in medical billing and coding (e.g., CPC, CCS-P)
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare billing or revenue cycle management
