Public Health Analyst

Job Description

As a Public Health Analyst at Health Insights Ltd., you will gather and interpret health data, provide analytical support, and contribute to public health initiatives aimed at improving community health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Analyse health data and report on community health needs.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to design health programmes.
• Conduct surveys and collect qualitative data as required.
• Present findings to government and non-governmental organizations.
• Stay updated on public health trends, legislation, and initiatives.
• Develop tools and methodologies to assess health outcomes.
• Participate in public health advisory committees.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions on health topics.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Public Health or related field
• Relevant professional certifications preferred

Experience

• At least 4 years of relevant experience in public health settings.

Technical Skills

• Health Program Evaluation
• GIS Software Experience

Soft Skills

• Negotiation Skills
• Interpersonal Skills

Certifications

• Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES)
• CPH exam preparation preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with community engagement techniques: Proficiency in conducting community meetings and outreach programs.
• Fluency in Welsh: Ability to communicate effectively in Welsh is highly desirable.
