Job Description

We are on the lookout for a passionate DevOps Engineer (AWS) to join our dynamic team in Sheffield. The successful candidate will leverage their skills in cloud management and automation to streamline our processes, enhancing our service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate code deployment.
• Monitor performance of applications and infrastructure on AWS.
• Develop scripts for automation and deployment tasks.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define and implement architectural best practices.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and agile practices within the team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Master's degree in relevant field is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years in DevOps engineering with a focus on AWS

Technical Skills

• AWS
• Ansible

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking
• Collaboration

Certifications

• Google Professional Cloud Architect
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies: Experience working in an Agile environment with SCRUM or Kanban.
• Knowledge of networking principles: Understanding of basic networking concepts and protocols.
