Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join our dynamic team in Bristol. In this role, you will provide expert legal advice across various sectors, with an emphasis on contract negotiation, compliance, and risk management. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in a similar legal environment and possess excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in proactive conflict resolution and legal risk management.
  • Review and develop templates for contracts and agreements for internal use.
  • Support the integration of legal considerations into business strategy.
  • Assist in the training and mentoring of junior legal staff.
  • Conduct audits of legal practices across the firm to ensure compliance.
  • Advise on employment law matters, including contracts and disciplinary processes.
  • Ensure all documentation and communications comply with GDPR requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of the firm’s legal resources and knowledge base.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field
  • Master's degree in Law is an advantage
Experience
  • 5 years of experience in legal advisory roles within commercial settings.
