Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Corporate Legal Analyst who will play a key role in our legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting legal research, drafting documents, and providing legal advice on a variety of corporate matters. You will liaise with clients and assist in the development of legal strategies to mitigate risk and ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and analyse legal risks associated with corporate transactions.
  • Prepare legal opinions and recommendations for management.
  • Assist in negotiations and drafting of legal agreements.
  • Keep abreast of industry best practices and legal developments.
  • Support the legal team in preparing for court proceedings when necessary.
  • Conduct training sessions on legal compliance for staff members.
  • Manage external counsel and coordinate their input on legal issues.
  • Participate in strategic planning meetings and provide legal insights.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Law or similar discipline
  • Postgraduate diploma in legal practice is a plus
Experience
  • Minimum of 4 years in legal analysis within a corporate environment
