Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Public Health Officer to join our team in Edinburgh. This individual will play a vital role in implementing public health initiatives, conducting community outreach, and analysing health data to enhance the overall health of the population.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate training sessions for community health workers.
  • Develop partnerships with local stakeholders to enhance public health efforts.
  • Advise on health policy and legislation impacting community health.
  • Implement disease prevention strategies and health promotion activities.
  • Serve as a resource for public health information and best practices.
  • Collaborate on research projects related to public health.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a Health-related field
  • Master's degree in Public Health is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a public health role
