Job Description

As a Health Promotion Officer, you will play a crucial role in strategising and implementing health initiatives aimed at enhancing the well-being of our community in Bournemouth. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to promote healthy lifestyles and manage health education campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with community members to promote participation in health initiatives.
  • Develop marketing materials to support health campaigns.
  • Provide training and support to volunteers and community health workers.
  • Monitor health trends and report findings to improve health strategies.
  • Stay updated with public health policies and recommend improvements.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Promotion or Public Health
  • Additional qualifications in health coaching or fitness training is a plus
Experience
  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience in health promotion or similar roles
