Job Description
We are looking for an engaging Art Therapist who will work with individuals to express their feelings through creative arts. You will be responsible for developing tailored treatment plans that enhance the emotional well-being of clients.
Responsibilities
Provide therapeutic art sessions that promote self-expression and emotional healing.
Assess clients’ emotional and psychological needs through creative expression.
Guide clients in the use of various art materials and techniques to facilitate healing.
Document client progress and adapt strategies to meet evolving needs.
Support clients in developing coping skills and strategies through art.
Engage in outreach activities to build community awareness of art therapy.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related field
Master's degree in Art Therapy or similar is preferred
Experience
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a therapeutic role focused on mental health
