Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Veterinary Surgeon to join our committed team in Liverpool. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in veterinary practice, capable of diagnosing and treating a variety of animal health issues while providing excellent customer service to pet owners.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct health examinations and diagnose medical conditions in animals.
  • Perform surgical procedures as necessary.
  • Develop treatment plans and educate pet owners on postoperative care.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with veterinary standards.
  • Administer vaccinations and preventive care.
  • Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure optimal care delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with veterinary advancements and participate in continuous education.
  • Provide emergency care when required.
  • Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding treatment options and health plans.
  • Participate in community outreach events to promote animal welfare.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine
  • Postgraduate qualifications in veterinary surgery preferred
Experience
  • Minimum 2-3 years in a veterinary practice setting
