Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Contact Lens Blocker and Cutter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for blocking and cutting contact lenses based on customer prescriptions and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Utilize optical measuring tools for accurate lens shaping.
• Monitor production processes and suggest improvements.
• Assist in training new employees on standard operating procedures.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Record and report any equipment malfunctions.
• Provide exceptional customer service during interactions.
• Manage inventory of lens materials and supplies.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Additional certification in optical technology is advantageous.

Experience

• Prior experience in contact lens blocking and cutting is preferred but not essential. Training will be provided.
