Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Psychodramatist to join our mental health team. You will facilitate psychotherapeutic group sessions using psychodrama techniques to help clients express and explore their emotions in a safe environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead group sessions using psychodrama techniques to foster emotional expression.
  • Develop therapeutic activities that promote healing and self-awareness.
  • Engage clients in role-play scenarios to help them process their feelings.
  • Monitor group dynamics and provide support to participants as needed.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss client progress and treatment strategies.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff and trainees in psychodrama practices.
  • Provide feedback on client sessions to improve practice and outcomes.
  • Document progress and outcomes for individual clients and group sessions.
  • Research best practices and contribute to policy improvements within the organisation.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Psychology or a related field
  • Additional certification in trauma-informed care preferred.
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in psychotherapeutic practices.
