We are seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to join our expanding team in Nottingham. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various construction projects and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project documentation including contracts, reports, and specifications.
• Ensure team members are well-informed of project objectives and timelines.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors and contractors.
• Implement sustainability initiatives within projects as required.
• Review and assess ongoing work for quality assurance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering is an advantage

Experience

• 5 years of experience in the civil engineering field, particularly in construction projects

Technical Skills

• BIM software
• Cost Estimation
• Environmental Impact Assessment

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Negotiation

Certifications

• Member of a Professional Engineering Body
• NEBOSH Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with GIS software: Experience using Geographic Information Systems for planning.
• Previous experience in public works projects: Experience managing government-funded construction projects.
