Nuclear Safety Engineer

Job Description

As a Nuclear Safety Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our nuclear facilities. You will be responsible for developing and implementing safety protocols, conducting risk assessments, and training staff on emergency procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage safety compliance activities and maintain documentation.
• Participate in safety audits and inspections of nuclear facilities.
• Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for staff on nuclear safety.
• Review and improve existing safety measures and protocols.
• Provide technical support to project teams regarding nuclear safety.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies on safety standards and compliance.
• Assist in emergency preparedness and response planning.
• Utilize safety analysis software tools to evaluate facility operations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering or related discipline
• Master's degree in Engineering or Safety Management is advantageous

Experience

• At least 3-5 years of experience in nuclear facility operations

Certifications

• Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
